14 DAYS UGANDA GRAND SAFARI-14 DAYS

Day 1: Drive To Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, depart to Murchison Falls National Park characterized by savannah, riverine forest and woodland. Wildlife includes lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, hartebeests, oribis, Uganda kobs, chimpanzees, and many bird species. Have lunch enroute. On arrival at paraa, take a drive to the “Top of the falls” after breakfast to the spot where the Nile plunges through a narrow gorge through the water's edge trail giving a breathtaking sight. Cross by ferry to Paraa Safari Lodge on the northern bank of River Nile for dinner and overnight or Stay at Red Chilli Camp / Sambiya River Lodge / Nile River Camp

Day 2: Wildlife Game Drive, River Nile Launch Cruise

Wake up early for a morning game drive with opportunity to view giraffe, elephant, hartebeests, antelope, lion, Uganda kob and many more. Return to the lodge for lunch, and then take a launch cruise along the Nile River, one of the highlights of a visit to the park. Visit the Bottom of the thundering falls where you will view crocodiles, a variety of water birds like herons and Kingfishers, schools of hippos, elephants and buffaloes.
Overnight Stay at Paraa Safari Lodge/Red Chilli Camp / Sambiya River Lodge / Nile River Camp

Day 3: Drive To Fort Portal

After early breakfast, drive to Fort portal with lunch enroute. You will travel through traditional homesteads and farms, driving along the scenic beauty of the Rwenzori ranges and the stretch of savanna grasslands.
Overnight stay at Ndali Lodge / Primate Lodge / Fort Motel / Mountains of the Moon Hotel / Toro Resort.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking In Kibale National Park

After early breakfast to prepare you for the trekking experience, report at Kanyanchu Tourist Centre to track habituated chimps. It’s a beautiful experience to watch them as they squabble and play in fruiting trees. You will also have a chance to view a wide range of primates, Birds and Butterflies through a network of shady forest trails.
Overnight stay at Ndali Lodge / Primate Lodge / Fort Motel / Mountains of the Moon Hotel / Toro Resort.

Day 5: Drive To Semliki National Park For Primate Chimpanzee Tracking

After breakfast, visit Semliki National Park, known for its beautiful scenic views of the hot springs, tropical rain forest and meandering river. The parks activities include primates viewing, forest jungle walk and birding. Have lunch enroute and then continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Proceed to the Park with a variety of big game like; buffaloes, waterbucks, kobs, lions, warthogs, elephants, bushbucks, crocodiles and water bucks.
Over night at the Ecology Institute Hostel / Jacana Safari Lodge or Mweya Safari Lodge (Full Board).

Day 6: Chimpanzee Tracking Safari To Kyambura Gorge

Early morning, drive to Kyambura Gorge for a Chimpanzee safari. It’s a beautiful experience to watch them as they squabble and play in fruiting trees. You will also have a chance to view a wide range of primates including the colobus monkeys, velvet monkeys, baboons, red tailed monkeys. After lunch, drive to the dock for a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel with the largest concentration of Nile Hippos, a host of countless bird species, a rich variety of birds on the channel, crocodiles and water bucks.
Over night at the Ecology Institute Hostel / Jacana Safari Lodge or Mweya Safari Lodge (Full Board).

Day 7: Morning Game Drive And Depart For Queen Elizabeth National Park

Rise early morning for a game drive with opportunity to view hippos, spotted hyenas, elephants, stripped jackal, lions, and leopards, bushbuck, water buck and warthogs.
Continue northwards for Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing the southern part of the park through the Ishasha sector in search of tree climbing lions.
Over night at Ishasha Wilderness Camp / Ishasha Bandas.

Day 8: Drive To Bwindi Gorilla National Park

Early morning after breakfast, set off with your safari guide for Bwindi Impenetrable forest National Park having another short drive through Ishasha sector for the tree climbing lions. Continue to the home of the rare mountain gorillas.
Overnight at Gorilla Resort/Buhoma Community Bandas (Full Board)

Day 9: Gorilla Tracking And Trekking

After early breakfast, report to the ranger station before 8:00 am for registration and a short briefing by one of the rangers. You will then go through the dense rain forest parting thick creepers, to track the gorillas. Enjoy the thrill of watching the gorillas grooming, feeding and playing delightfully.
Overnight at Gorilla Resort/Buhoma Community Bandas (Full Board)

Day 10: Drive To Lake Bunyonyi For Wildlife And Bird Watching

After breakfast, depart from Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale, a very scenic spot, dotted with small islands and ringed by steeped terraced hills. After check in and lunch, have a boat ride to some of the islands on the lake to view water birds.
Overnight stay at Bunyonyi Overland Resort / Arcadia Cottages / Heritage Lodge – Habuharo Island.

Day 11: Drive To Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National park with a variety of interest and colour. Arrive in time for a boat ride on the Lake and view wildlife including hippopotami and birds like the rare Shoebill Stork, African Fin foot, Pelicans, Black crake, Heron, cormorant, fish eagle.
Overnight stay at Rwonyo Camp / Mantana Tented Camp.

Day 12: Game Drive And bird Watching

After an early breakfast, take on a morning game drive providing an opportunity to view impalas, warthogs, elands, topis, waterbucks and zebras.
Thereafter transfer to Ssese island through Bukakata by ferry.
Overnight at Palm Gardens Beach / Ssese Islands Club / Mirembe

Day 13: Ssese Island Forest Walk, Canoeing, Beach Games

After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy cycling, forest nature walks, swimming, canoeing on the lake, and enjoy beach games. Return for lunch and then relax at the beach in the afternoon.
Overnight at Palm Gardens Beach / Ssese Islands Club / Mirembe

Day 14: Board A Ferry To The Main Land

Have a Relaxed breakfast then board a ferry back to the main land. Transfer to your Hotel.
