GERMANS TO INVEST IN ECO-TOURISM

A total of 14 Germans have arrived in Uganda to study Eco-tourism opportunities.
The tourists, who came from Stuttgart and Rotenberg, will also provide humanitarian assistance to the people of Masaka district, where they will be staying at Lwaggulwe, a Catholic parish in Masaka district.
The group leader, Peter Heisig said that they had come to Uganda not only to tour, but also to support water projects in Masaka, and had mobilised around 60,000 euros (about sh138m) for these projects.
The group was welcomed to Uganda, by the Uganda tourism Board general manager, James Bahinguza at Uganda at Entebbe Airport recently.
