Free land at Industrial parks will be given to investors who undertake projects in priority sectors including Tourism.

The land will be provided in a bid to encourage investments and development in the Tourism sector, as well as other sectors including education, information communication technology, finance, agro-processing and agriculture, medical services, printing and publishing, mining and oil exploration and packaging.

Uganda is a developed Tourism destination, with a range of attractions including
National Parks, mainly known for wildlife and Birds, Lakes and Rivers, the Mighty Murchison falls, the Source of the Nile as well as the Home to half of the world’s remaining mountain Gorillas.

Incentives have been overtime offered to investors in the priority sectors, and according to Aston Kajara, the state minister for investment, this kind of investment is encouraged by the Government because it produces products that are used by our own people and reduces the outflow of foreign exchange.
