A 5 DAY PRIVATE SAFARI
ITINERARY TO QUEEN ELIZABETH AND KIBALE NATIONAL PARK
Day 1
Your guide will meet you and depart west for Queen Elizabeth
National Park. This scenic drive takes you across the Equator
for snacks and photography. Lunch break is made at Regency
Lake view Hotel or Agip Motel Mbarara. After lunch, a drive
to Queen enables visitors to enjoy beautiful scenery, herds
of long horned Ankole cattle, tea plantations in Ishaka, Rift
valley escarpment, open grassland and woodland savanna. Evening
game drive for sight seeing is much more rewarding.
Overnight at Mweya safari lodge/Institute of Ecology (FB).
Day 2
Begin your day with a cup of coffee. Early morning game drive
along Kasenyi and Queens Mile makes visitors encounter elephants,
buffalo, water bucks, warthogs, lions, Uganda Kobs lakes and
a variety of birds. Return to the lodge for breakfast and
lunch.
After lunch, You will go for a boat trip along the Kazinga
channel. This will give you an opportunity to see Hippo, Bufallo,
Kobs, Elephants, warthogs etc. This trip also enables visitor
chance to see spectacular birds.
Overnight at Mweya safari lodge/Institute of Ecology (FB).
Day 3
After breakfast, you will leave Queen and depart by road for
Kibale National Park. You will leave the park via the northern
crater area, with beautiful lakes and rich grasslands which
are set deep in the crater valley, this is truly the most
breathtaking scenery in the Park. You will continue to Fort
portal town for lunch before making our final descent to Ndali
Lodge/Rwenzori View guest you will stay prior to your chimpanzee
trekking tomorrow.
Dinner and overnight at the Ndali Safari Lodge(Luxury)or the
tree house at Kanyankyu ecological centre(Budget) (FB).
Day 4
After substantial breakfast set on your walking expedition
in Kibale National Park. This is home to an astonishing 12
species of primates and provides one of the highest primate
densities in the world. On our guided forest walk, you may
find families of chimps, and red-tailed and colobus Monkeys
chattering and singing through the ancient forest trees. The
bird life is no less impressive. After lunch take a walk in
Bigodi swamp for its rare, beautiful flora and fauna. You
will also have an opportunity to interact with a successful
community tourism project.
Dinner and overnight at the Ndali Safari Lodge(Luxury)or the
tree house at Kanyankyu ecological centre(Budget).
Day 5
Following a morning breakfast, we will depart to Kampala arriving
in the afternoon.
