A 4 DAY PRIVATE SAFARI
ITINERARY TO LAKE MBURO AND KIBALE NATIONAL PARK
Day 1
Depart from Kampala, after Breakfast for the journey to Lake
Mburo National Park. This drives takes you to the Equator
where you will stop for a photographic opportunity as well
as an informative talk. You will continue to Lake Mburo seeing
the beautiful and tranquil surroundings with Impala, elands,
Kipspringers, waterbuck, Zebra and buffalo. After lunch at
Mantana Luxury Camp, take a canoe trip in the afternoon to
see variety of water birds. Your guide will keep you a safe
distance from the hippos and crocodiles.
Dinner and Overnight at Mantana luxury tented Camp/Budget
Rwonyo Camp (FB).
Day 2
After a substantial breakfast, leave Lake Mburo and make the
scenic journey to Fort Portal town. Fort Portal rests in the
shadow of the fabulous "Mountains of the Moon,".
You will continue to Ndali Lodge/Rwenzori View Guest House
where you will stay prior to your chimpanzee trekking tomorrow.
Overnight at Ndali Safari Lodge (Luxury) or Rwenzori View
Guest house (Midrange) or Kanyankyu ecological centre (Budget).
Day 3
After Break fast, we shall move into the Forest, for primate
viewing. The activity starts at 8.00 am in the morning. A
half day search for chimpanzees and other primates including
phoestes, Red-Colobus, Blues, Red-tailed and grey cheeked
Mangabey swinging through the dense forest and birds, butterflies
and many small insects. The guide will provide detailed explanations
on not only primates, but also on all the forest's fauna and
flora, ensuring that your walk is both informative and enjoyable.
This walk is excellent for viewing bird life and primates
in close quarters. After lunch, a visit to Bigodi swamp eco
tourism site is amazing, as we shall encounter rare and beautiful
flora and fauna.

Guest house (Midrange) or Kanyankyu ecological centre (Budget).
Day 4
After breakfast, escapade the region which has many crater
lakes, and later proceed to Kampala with lunch en route.
