GROUP TOUR IN UGANDA :

3 DAYS MURCHISON FALLS WILDLIFE TOUR

The tour takes you to Murchison Falls National Park, which derives its name from the Murchison falls where the mighty River Nile explodes through a narrow gorge. The river then flows down to become a placid river whose banks are thronged with hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks and buffaloes. Murchison Falls Protected Area (MFNP) is made up of Bugungu and Karuma Wildlife Reserves. The park has a variety of Wild life including lions, chimpanzees Uganda kobs and many bird species including the rare shoebill. Vegetation is characterized by Savannah, riverine forest and woodland.

TOUR ITINERARY:

DAY ONE:  To Murchison Falls Np
Leave Kampala at 0700hrs. Drive through the famous Luwero triangle. Take a stop over at Masindi hotel for breakfast. Drive to the park through Budongo forest on the western arm of the Great Rift Valley in time to enjoy the fabulous falls where the Nile perfects its gorgeous falls concocts a deafening roar and rainbow in a spiral of the spray. Dinner and Overnight at Red chilli accommodation. (FB)

DAY TWO.  The launch cruise along the Victoria Nile
Take breakfast and you will be transferred to northern part of the park for a game drive. View Elephants, Buffaloes, Bushbucks, Lions, and a variety of bird species. After lunch, proceed for a two-hour launch cruise up to the substructure of the mighty Murchison falls where sinister water escapes from the narrow gorge, an opportunity to see the amazing hippos, crocodiles, water birds along the river banks enabling a wonderful birding safari. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. (FB)

DAY THREE. Return to Kampala
After breakfast, cross the river back via Budongo forest and lunch at Masindi hotel. Return to Kampala at leisure. END OF SAFARI.

Extra Activities:
There is an optional activity of chimpanzee tracking at Pabidi Budongo forest at

Accommodation Highlights:


In terms of accommodation, the price quote given is based on the budget. The budget type of accommodation is in basic facilities such as hotels/lodges which are structures built separate from each other and may not be self contained.   You however do not need to carry a sleeping back because they have a bed, mattress and mosquitoes net and blanket. 

Included are: Park entry fees, the launch cruise, game drives, Full board accommodations, Ground transportation in a 4x4 vehicle each of you with a window seat. Services of full time English speaking driver guide, Fuel costs and ferry crossing.

 Excluded are; Visa fees, tips, accommodation in Kampala, optional activities, laundry fees and any other personal expenses not included in the list above.
