KIBALE CHIMPANZEE SAFARI - 2 DAY UGANDA CHIMPANZEE TRACKING SAFARI TO KIBALE NATIONAL PARK


Day 1
: Drive to Kibale forest Chimpanzee National Park

After breakfast, drive to Kibale National Park with your Safari guide to a scenic drive which takes approximately 5 hours. The park is a home to closest relative of Humans– the endangered Chimpanzee and the highest diversity and density of primates in Africa totaling 13 species. These include the threatened Red Colobus monkey, Blue monkey, Velvet monkey Black / White Colobus monkey, I’hoest monkey and Grey Cheeked monkey. After checking in, have a guided walk in Bigodi Swamp to view a range of different bird species like the Shining Blue Kingfisher, Yellow Spotted, Pied Hornbill, and Yellow-Billed Barbets.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking Experience

After early breakfast to prepare you for the trekking experience, report at Kanyanchu Tourist Centre to track habituated chimps. It’s a beautiful experience to watch them as they squabble and play in fruiting trees. You will also have a chance to view a wide range of primates, Birds and Butterflies through a network of shady forest trails.
Visit Toro Palace (subject to the Kingdoms program of the day) then proceed to Kampala with lunch enroute.Transfer to tour Hotel.
